    • Okay I just went and read almost alll of these comments lol, sorry! It's def the same guy. I didn't see any of the movies or documentaries mentioned though, it was just an episode on the ID channel. I read about the mom as well, oh my gosh, that poor child! So sad. I'll def have to check one of the movies out when I get the time

    • @Lacey Ann isn't he the guy that killed Angel (A guy who had feelings for him, and even wore huge white wings and everything initially to get his attention) because (I think) he owed him money for drugs? And if I'm not mistaken kept his body in the room for a while bc they were too high to deal with it. And he was frustrated he forgot to put holes in the boxes after they chopped him up, and watched them float back, but said f*ck it..? I might have him confused with someone else but Im pretty sure that's the guy...I saw an episode about it on the ID channel a while back. If so that is HIGHLY disturbing for him to be around that child. Because like you said, murder was definitely not the only horrible thing he did...he was involved in several highly disturbing things! I can't believe he is actually allowed to be around children or that the guardians of the child would allow it.!😧🤯 *Also let me just say it was so horrible what happened to Angel 😥😪 he did not deserve that AT ALL. And he showed no remorse for what he did, and acted like Angel meant nothing to him...ughhh this entire situation has my emotions all over the place😤😪 (Sry this was so long and all over the place lol, I just can't believe the guy who has done all of these horrible things is sitting beside that child joking about drugs smh)

  • Well, in my school when I was about 11/12 years old the police came to our class. They taught us about drugs, showed us what they looked like, taught us, about drinking and driving, about assault. We were educated so we knew the world we live in.

  • I think drag can be for kids but it would take so much over seeing by appropriate people to make sure (and this is any arena kids are in) have tonwatch over everything to be sure the children are safe and that its aimed for a safe environment and that people who could bring potential harm not allowed. Just a lot of over seeing has to be done.

  • With the is drag compatible with kids thing, I think it’s a yes and no answer. Kids should be able to dress up in drag and go to drag events, ware revealing outfits if they want to (like the whole dress code argument) but I don’t think they should be able to preform in clubs that are overtly sexual. Also there’s a big distinction between kids his age and kids my age. He started drag when he was 10 and no ten year old should be dancing with bills thrown at them. However, I’m 17 and started paying attention to drag when I was 13. I’ve been to clubs where queens preformed in a sexual manner. But I don’t think a kid should be performing and I don’t think a 10 year old should see that. He’s learning long division and learning about thanksgiving right now, give this kid a mf childhood

  • Desmond's mother couldn't give two s**ts about her son. If you go online, you'll find a GoFundMe page on Desmond that was set up by his parents, practically milking money off of the whole "Drag Kids" scam and purposely putting their son in danger just because they're jobless deadbeats and want to get rich quick.

  • when blaire said not to hate Desmond, I 100% agree. desmond is a product of his environment and it’s not his fault. he is getting pimped out and overall...ahem...fetishized. drag is definitely very sexual. it is NOT for children. at all. no exceptions. it is not for children. it’s different when they’re just being kids and dressing up. but don’t expose them to the “hollywood” lifestyle so early because we all know what happens to child celebrities. please, don’t hate the kid for their parents actions. for any reason.

  • I think I've commented on this video before, but binging you today... so I'm going to comment again. I'm a mom of 7 and I've watched Drag race since the first season. It is not at all something I would want my kids in at such a young age. As older teenagers, I could see them starting to be able to understand the humor and culture of it. All of mine are 13 and below. The middle schoolers would get the humor, but I don't want them using that yet and my littles wouldn't get it. Why is this mom allowed to do this with her child? It's heartbreaking. If he wants to dress up, let him and let him put shows on at home. Why would you want your young child paraded around as a controversial figure? It's sad and frustrating.

  • 2 basic rules w/ parenting. 1) You don't burden kids w/ situations out of their control. (they will inherently, find some way to always blame themselves) 2) You don't expose or ask them to deal with "adult issues". Period. (be sure to read that in Dr. Phil's voice btw. lol) They don't have the development yet, to understand, see around corners to the inappropriateness of, nor the impact or consequences of. They shouldn't even have to be confronted with or decide about.. His MOTHER should be doing that, to protect him & as the responsible adult. Kids, esp at that age... don't have the maturity yet, to not just be confused, make things their fault in some way OR to even comprehend drug use, sex, consent, etc. Nothing wrong w/ being whomever he is & whomever he wants to be. Love it. There is a problem, however, exposing & asking him to be burdened & to deal with... adult situations he has NO control over & shouldn't even be around; let alone involved in, Sex, inappropriate language, situations.... alcohol/drugs, murderers.... & on a regular basis? Awww hellllllllll no. Not his fault... His mother, tho? Pfft.. needs to actually think about her child, rather than herself. That's called being a PARENT. Well said, Blaire... as always. :) Stay safe & BE WELL.

  • I used to defend Desmond doing drag and I used to always just think the people being concerned and saying things like he's being exploited, were people of the older generation who wasn't understanding of kids expressing themselves and the like. It is only through this video I learned that this is clearly wrong, my opinion has changed and I'm now honestly very concerned for him. I really hope this gets taken seriously and that someone look into this properly, it's clear to me now that whoever is raising him are not fit for it and does not want his best. It's heartbreaking and it should be talked about more. I also want to note that while I do think it's okay for him to dress up and put on makeup and whatnot, I don't think he should have a part in the community that is drag. It's a very sexual and very grown up environment, as you've said...so I don't think it's an environment he should be in. no shade to the drag community though, yall are cool and very inspiring :)
