  • Upvote this please people, it will be worth it!!!!!! Please do the sword fight scene from Jet Li's: Fearless (2006) Hi guys, love the videos. Please, please, please; if you haven't already done it: Can you please react to at least the sword fight scene from Jet Li's: Fearless (2006). They have CGI, wires, great choreography etc. and it goes for almost 5 minutes. Plus an awesome bit with water. Also the audio is done really well and adds to the VFX. You'll see what I mean! And there are other cool fight scenes throughout the movie too. (If you've already reviewed it, any chance you know which of your videos it's in?) I'll keep posting this comment each video because I know you'll like it. Don't hate me!!.

  • Hey guys! I just recently watched the movie that really kick started Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's career, The Rundown, and I thought it would make an awesome Stuntmen React video. Specifically the fight scene in between Beck and Manito, and then of course the stunts performed in the big end fight scene(though specifically when Beck fight all of the guys wielding the whips).

  • Jackie Chan doesn't speed up footage (undercranking) he says that's how you know people can't really fight when they speed up footage. He show connections in his hits. There is a really cool guy that has a video on shot framing with Jackie Chan vs American methods. Also he's a perfectionist and they practice practice practice for hundreds of takes vs. U.S. action movies.

  • You guys obviously love the original Old Boy, and Spike Lee obviously made an inferior film. However, I have to say that although the original's hallway fight tells a really condensed story in a couple of minutes, the decision to make it all a single take had its trade offs. There are blatant instances throughout that sequence of heavily pulled punches, and actors falling down for no reason. From a pure fight choreography perspective, the blows in Spike Lee's version have a lot more impact, and are a lot more believable throughout, in my opinion. I'm just surprised that given how much you scrutinize a lot of other films (fairly, and with affection), that you gave the original Old Boy a complete pass.

  • Holy crap did he really just say that a real fight is about 10 minutes long OMG he's out of his mind I am going to bet that his parents put him into martial arts at a fairly young age probably because of a result of him being bullied and to teach him how to defend himself and this guy if he believes that then he's never been in a street fight because you fight someone for 10 minutes straight on the street someone is going to die or the 2 fighters are way way way to equally matched or equally scared and never thru the first punch and that thing he said about why you make sounds is complete bull shit the keyi is a self protection aid its used when you are attacking mostly with the hands but by habit you'll do it when kicking but its done to exhail the air out of the lungs in case you are hit with a blow to the ribs or diaphram as you are swinging to keep you from getting your breath knocked out while your body is unprotected to minimize the damage done its gonna still hurt but the keyi (or how ever its spelled) gets the air out and causes you to tighten/flex your stomach muscles reducing the damage that could be caused by a body shot while swinging a punch and it helps
