  • The Rays left runners in scoring positions in the 1st and 2nd inning. I knew that was going to hurt them in the end.

  • Without even half of Randy's homers or RBI's, i'm wondering do the Rays still make the World Series?

  • 20 or 21 games in one postseason. Not taking anything away for a guy was on fire this month, but there have been teams in the playoff era who won it all in 12 games. Sooo... does the “record” mean anything? Again, it is amazing for his stats in his career to see these numbers under his name, and I look forward to seeing him play for another 15 years in the majors. And I love stats and numbers, it’s a huge part of the fun of baseball. But it’s grating to hear Joe Buck or some other good on TV go on about some kind of a “record” as if it is a legit comparison this year - for a guy who basically played nearly twice as many games as other players who had great postseasons.

  • Rays fans: Your team is poorly coached and your manager makes horrible decisions. “It makes no sense. It’s poor judgment, poor coaching, it’s just poor teaching what they’re doing and what they’re allowing to do.”

  • I'm so glad for Arozarena. Came from very humble origins and destiny made him choose baseball. Had he chosen soccer he would have never gotten out of poverty and mediocrity in Cuba. For some reason Cubans can't organize themselves in soccer. There are some good players but they can't play as a team. Now baseball, that's a different beast.

  • Reasons why this is one of the greatest postseasons ever and doesn’t deserve to drop in ratings 1. We have had a large variety of different storylines. Ex: Arozarena breaking MLB records as a rookie, the Marlins making a run, etc. 2. We have had the perfect set of playoff teams. You have the low payroll teams that are managed greatly in the Rays and the A’s. You have the two extremely large markets in New York and LA. You have the big market all star team in LA. You have the young, energetic teams that are the future of the sport in Atlanta and San Diego. You have the underdog stories in Miami, the White Sox, and Toronto making the playoffs this early in their rebuild. You have the upsets such as Marlins over Cubs and the Astros over the Twins. You have a new evil empire that everybody can unite and root against in Houston. Then of course, due to the expanded playoffs, you have those teams that no one really cares about other than their own fan bases like the Cardinals and Brewers. And then you got Trevor Bauer in the Reds 3. We have witnessed some of the greatest MLB postseason games of all time. Examples such as World Series game 4, ALDS game 5 Tampa vs NY. 4. Baseball is the greatest sport in the world
