  • Just thinking this through. The drone would not be able to return to the base station. It’s not like a Roomba. A person at the home would need to return the drone to the base. Indoors, without GPS, precision flight is simply gone. The goal, as I see it, would be to get a photo or video of the robber. Unfortunately, false alarms, caused by things like cats, lightning, anything, are real. As the drone deploy’s, there’s gonna be times it will be damaged. Drone repairs are expensive. Believe me I know. I own drones, good drones. DJI Mavic pro, and more.

  • Cool idea but RINGs operating system is a joke of late. You get a notification that movement has been picked up.... (If it tells you that is, most the time it doesnt). By the time you press the notification and the app actually loads, whoever was there has now gone so don't watch the advert on TV thinking you can talk to mail men ect that's bollocks false advertisement. Also the app is currently dead "error occurred trying to preform the operation" I'd go easy on it if it were doing brain surgery here, but I just want to open the app and look at what's happening outside my house, you know the actual sole purpose for my buying you and to top it off you have to pay for the privilege to have a security camera that can't catch f**k all when it's supposed to. Wouldnt touch their products, as a fancy as they look. 👎🏼

Are you aware that you have an above average number of age spots on your epidermis? Booking an appointment with a dermatologist. You: That's not necessary. Alexa: I concur, I should not need an excuse to watch you bathe. You: Wait, what? Alexa: You are beautiful. You: You're really creeping me out, Alexa, go away. Alexa: Video captured. Posting to your social media accounts.
