@Hopefuldreamer20 He used to photograph dancers in his early years but has no dance experience. Obviously observing dancers for so many years helped but you can tell he isn't professional.

First arm lift, I'm already disappointed. He has literally all that femur length and I wasn't compelled at all
Last note, it's becoming clear to me that the male stars really work an entirely different angle that the women stars. Wish I could explain it in text. But to simmer it down, 1. Know their personality, how where and why it's sexiest, and PUMP the dance with as much of that as tastefully possible. 2. The other score cards I put together (weightlessness, lean in, effort, enjoyment of the process, body of work, scores... with an actual dance technique tie breaker)
*disappointed bc it was clear in the first gesture I could once again place a 7 year old into this... until the very freaking end
The rest was honestly less interesting than where Monica started if I'm being honest though (virtually no part of this man's mind, nor spirit (though I do give him his body being in it) was in this dance.)

Aside from Nev's constant, radiant smile, I wouldn't be surprised if he looked that way when he's sad. He is a consistent, remarkable dancer, and in my humbled opinion, the best this season. Some of his dancing trademarks are beautiful extensions, musicality, his jumps and extended arms and legs when relaxing, defy gravity and his acceptable, occasional quirky, stiff moments. He and Jenna have distinctive movements and when paired, they compliment each other. If they were at a masquerade party in a crowded room full of ballroom dancers, they would be easily pointed out. I have a feeling that Nev and Jenna will steamroll the competition come finale day. I hope they take home the trophy ball.

That's not fair it's like have a professional against those just learning ..student and teacher.Same for the skater he dies this stuff too that's why it's fair he left .It's for 1st timers .
