The relief would be un-complicated, super-fast and effective! The following is a meme and sentiment that is going to start a revolt and revolution in response to a (probable) protracted crisis: “Without a national rent freeze, stimulus checks are just landlord bailouts!” There’s an popular American expression that the US Federal Government needs to be reminded of: KEEP IT SIMPLE KEEP IT SIMPLE KEEP IT SIMPLE If crisis becomes protracted, please, please please.... Let’s please make 2020 a Jubilee-type year! The crisis will unify our communities and our nation!

  • As someone who works in a grocery store, my coworkers and I are pretty used to being treated terribly by customers and there was a slight sense of pride that we felt with being labeled "essential." Kind of depressing that it takes a global pandemic for people to realize that their local cashiers, baggers, meat cutters and deli clerks are actually human and that the country would literally collapse without us.

And you go GE workers, and you care more for other Americans then your damned owners. There should be lists of employers who are endangering their workers so we can all boycott them. Along with all the politians who worry more about trump tweeting at them, then protecting the people they're responsible to and for, so come this November or what ever year they come up for we can vote against them. Maybe even call for a recall so it can happen this Nov anyway.

I fully agree with that given how life & death their jobs have become not just for themselves but for the people they have to come home to every night. Hell yeah they should be getting double the pay right now. After all, that’s what they get paid when they work certain holidays! And this is no holiday for them. It began with a rally on May 4, 1886, but the consequences are still being felt today. • 3 days ago i gave a speech to some of my co-workers about the idea of going to our employer, who btw, is working right along side of us, and asking whats in this for us ? We are currently making parts for n95 masks, for 3m. However,we are not being provided any protection for ourselves. Nobody i work with agreed with me beyond the bounds of our personal conversation. The primary " reasoning" for not approaching our boss was that they'll just fire us and hire new people tomorrow. Which is the total opposite of what would happen. The company i work for has maybe 45 employees. Were they to fire us then we would just show up out front with signs everyday until our demands were met. Ohio people. Wtf.
