I couldn't find out where to comment on the whole show . This week had the craziest costumes ever. So many that were not flattering to the dancers or to the contestants! I just looked at that and I went okay what the heck happened to the clothes designers I guess they were not there this week.

Bruno making comment about the hip action, check out Britt her's were not all that great as a pro so I would think Britt should have had Johnny do more why penalize him. I know he can move those hips I've seen all his skating performances (namely Poker Face).

Johnny Weir is better as center of attention and doing his own thing... I’m surprised he even did this at all. His performance and skills are enhanced by him being the focus of them.

Ballroom dancing requires both masculine (the "frame") and feminine (the "painting") roles. Johnny perhaps feels more comfortable being the "painting," in which case Britt either needs to switch places and become more of the "frame," or find a way for Johnny to portray the masculine role more.
Looked like two of the same were competed from the energy. There was not opposite energy here. Oh gosh... However, he does have a lot of nice energy and does try to do all the steps properly.

I feel like he was trying to be the lady and I totally understand why, and I'm ok with that, but he's not supposed to. It kind of ruined it for me. Wasn't impressed.
@Gucci Grace I've seen the Chmerkovskiy brothers dancing with guys (not on TV). And they both have their own girls. So I think they'd be okay with it.

@Christina Sargeant I would actually be okay if they paired him with a guy and just let him do the lady part. But the two dancers trying to do the lady parts looks off.
I agree on all your points. Then to top it off a female hairstyle and costume. It just doesn’t work no matter how good he dances. He seems like a really nice person though. I like him as a person

I’m not going to lie, I was confused on what his dancing role was this week. The dance was lack luster. I hope he didn’t plateau. He was doing so well. Others are improving and he’s falling back on skating moves. I hope he continues to improve. I want to see him, AJ and Kaitlyn in the finals.

Johnny is a great dancer but this is ball room and it’s a partner dance. He has got to dance stronger and more masculine.

I love Johnny...but it's like watching 2 girls dance together! I'm not getting any masculinity from him at all! Yes I know he's gay and a femme...but UT's almost his outfits are competing with her! I totally hated this outfit! Not cute... It clashed with hers!

WHY is he wearing a woman's costume? He needs to stop dancing like a figure skater and work on grounding himself into the floor. This is embarrassing, and I enjoyed Vernon and Skai's dances (which both weren't technically great but still fun to watch) much more than this. Emmanuel Sandhu, a figure skater was on So You Think You Can Dance Canada years ago--and he kept trying to do triple axels and show-offy skating choreography in his routines that just didn't work, too. You need to be light on the ice. Not the dancefloor.
