  • Thanks for watching! Oh and closed captioning will be available soon.

    • I know you get asked all the time, how many acres do you all farm?

      Willard102Willard102Vor 25 Tage
    • Many farmers get deaf from lack of ear protection on farm machinery. Closed captioning isn’t the answer until it’s too late. Many people (especially farmers) don’t realize that even modern tractors, impact wrenches and hammers on an anvil are too loud.

  • Have been watching from Australia for just over 12 months. Love your work although Koby is my favourite member of the Welker family! :) I'm not from the land myself, and I'm really interested in understanding a bit more about why you chose the crops you do (weather?, yield?, price?) and also the paddock/crop rotation that you guys have to consider in order to get the best out of your land. Would love to hear more about the science and thinking behind your business (without giving away trade secrets), perhaps as you're going around seeding and spraying! Anyways, great work and really enjoy your channel. :)

  • I am no scientist or engineer but I think you actually gain force by having more joints and more mass. Not 100% sure but I was told that's the only difference between a 1/2 3/4 and 1 inch impact. Just more mass. The joint gives you more slop which gives you more acceleration and also more mass. Not 100% sure but I'm sure someone who is smarter than I can correct me.

    Kevin BehanKevin BehanVor 24 Tage

  • Hey Nic Do you think maybe you could come to west Australia and fix my boom I may have got stuck in a fence today trying to get a bit done ahead of the seeder. It always shocks me how rough the booms end up through seeding. Looking forward to seeing your seeding videos We should finish doing the vetch and the oats tomorrow and thinking that we will do the wheat at the end of April if there is a rain coming. Had 35mm of rain on Sunday so everything is starting to sprout but it doesn't look like anything for a while.

    • Booms take a beating, it is hard to avoid with huge span, uneven land, obstacles, and high speeds. But they sure get the job done fast. Good luck on your season!

      Welker FarmsWelker FarmsVor 24 Tage
  • Been watching your family farm operation for a couple of years now. I marvel at the change of seasons, how defined they are and how fast they go. It only feels like yesterday I was watching you plant the 2020 crop. Down under we have our seasons but they all seem to merg together the calendar dictates the season more than the weather. Keep safe.
