I haven't eaten this food in 20 YEARS...

20 Years later and I'm finally able to try this food again... In this video I relive my childhood by trying one of my dad's favorite snacks: LIMBURGER CHEESE! Let's review this strange food and see if it brings back some memories!

Early on in my childhood my dad introduced me to Limburger Cheese Spread on Triscuits. I loved it. Despite the fact that this is a SUPER STINKY CHEESE I just couldn't get enough of it! However, when I was about 10 years old Kraft stopped making this particular delicacy much to my dad's disappointment. Fast forward to 2019 and I may have found a replacement for that long lost favorite food. Let's see my reaction to my childhood favorite snack! How will I react? Will I still like it? Or will it be gross?

  • different companies make it differently as well, so you may like it from one and truly hate it from another... smell/flavor... its something you'd have to look for or experience to know what brands/ types you like :D hope that helps :D

  • 9:38 *deviant child noises* **warning, emotional rant below** But in all honesty I know how this feels and there are a few things I cant eat or drink without sobbing because my grandma and grandpa liked them. My grandma was a baker, Nanans hands where never still, whether she where baking or doing crossword puzzles or feeding the dogs toast in the morning as she drank her coffee. Even when she got arthritis and she couldn't carry the pies into the oven she kept going. Thanksgiving with her was the greatest, and she would always let me help. She alwats joked about the fact that almost every 6 months she would go to the hospital, and almost all the nurses there knew her. She wore slippers around the house and i would always hhelp her into them and then pretend to tie the little bows on them. She loved Conway Twitty. Me and her loved watching Law and order, say yes to the dress, 4 weddings, 90 day fiance, and a bunch of other TLC shows. She passed in 2018 on the 24th of June( 3 days before her and my older brother and abuncha other ppls I knows birthday) from stage 4 lung cancer. The thing that made it so hard is the mental pictures of her last moments. i have her watch, the one shed wear everyday, one of her nightgowns and 2 pairs of her shoes, as Well as her amazing recipes. My grandpa was awesome. He had a lazy eye and glasses, which i believe is why i felt like I belonged with him. (I have glasses and my left eye is crossed) He taught me how to read and write, and accidentally turned me to a lefty. (I was able to write with both and then gradually went to my left hand, so my right one looks like a kindergarteners writing) He had some form of disease that caused kidney failure, and after a rocky road went to a nursing home permanently. I'd see him almost every week with Nanan. He was always super happy to see us, and I always loved pushing his wheelchair. He had to go to dialysis because of his illness, and was only going to survive 5 to 6 years. After my Nanan passed, my uncle went behind us and told him, instead of going with us all. We told him in I believe july or August, I can't quite remember. He had actually lived one more year than what he was supposed to,and passed March 3rd of 2019. The thing that made it hurt the most was that it was the evening of the night he passed, and i had a lil beenie baby with my grandmas ashes in a necklace pendant in her arm with me. He wasn't supposed to be able to speak, but he woke up gently held my hand. I looked up at him, and said "I love you Madi." I smiled and said "I love you too grandpa." (Im crying hold up lmao) as the adults asked him if he needed water or anything. He was in hospice, a few rooms away from where Nanan was for the rest of her days. Instead of something physical, I got the gift of having him teach me so so much and the memories. Sorry for the rant, if you made It this far then thank you for reading that novel. As what tyler says, "smile always."

  • I had this moment with final fantasy 7 recently. My friends and were talking about old Japanese games and we started talking about the final fantasy games. My strongest memory of my late father was him loving those games. We got on the topic of 7 and I looked up the cover and I just felt this wage of nostalgia just knock me over. My friends recommend the new remake. I jump and buy it and boot it up. My dad was the one who played it. I dont remember the story but I remember saturday mornings with the old lumpy couch and the sun coming through the shades slanted across the TV and I remember getting that bulky ass case for my dad and his memory card and booting up that came. I would sit there for hours watching him play it and replay it. It's a memory I havent had in awhile. But after the initial cinematic to the remake the start screen pops up with that fucking music and I fell apart. It was such a happy memory I kept laughing and crying. Now I revisit final fantasy just so I can feel that way again. The only part that breaks my heart that while I love the remake, my dad was the one who deserved to see it come out and he didnt get to. This is a long rant I expect everyone go ignore but I get it. It's the smallest memories that mean the world.
