  • Hard working pitchers like CC are a dying breed. They ignored analytics and sabermetrics. They went out and pitched. Only a few left in MLB.

  • Incredible competitor . Some players need to learn to compete on this Level . Leave it all on the field that’s what CC did . For all the people who questioned him leaving the team to get sober a few years ago . You can kiss CC’s ass now. Your competitiveness will be missed . # respect

  • I don’t think that’s a dislocation.. I’ve dislocated my shoulder twice and each time I had to pick that arm up and hold it. I was basically a limp noodle.

  • i HATE the yankees but as a hardcore baseball fan, i love CC for battling over his addiction, and still trying to pitch when his damn shoulder popped out of its socket ! I also liked the vid despite a current grudge i've held on jomboy and his denver butt buddy for hating on Pierzynski.

  • A lot of people seem confused by the injury. - He didn't dislocate his shoulder he subluxed it. Meaning the should temporarily came out of the joint but then went back in and you can actually kind of see it in the video if you look closely. So while he's throwing the rest of the pitches it's not dislocated, it's back in it's normal position. That being said, pain and discomfort will still be very much present as there is a good amount of soft tissue injury that can take place when you sublux a shoulder (anything from labral tears to biceps/RC strain, etc) and even possible bony injury though rare - his pitching arm isn't the one involved it's his glove arm. That's why he was still able to throw quality pitches. That being said, you need your glove shoulder in good shape for good biomechanics especially during the cocking phase of the pitch so it being injured is going to create a lot of discomfort and pain especially with the added stress of pitching. He's a legend.

  • God I hope the Nats beat the Astros, I’m a NL guy. Nats are far inferior to the mighty Astros though, Nats starting pitching has to be LEGENDARY to win this series. Like Bob Gibson personified through Scherzer, Strasbourg, Corbin, Sanchez, and the Closer Doolittle HAS to be ready for multiple innings!!! Then jus scratch and claw 3-4 runs a game and MAYBE they will take it🤣
