Toast missed an epic big brain play when Hafu was Sheriff and he was imposter: He could've killed Hafu and self-reported. He would then claim that he is Sheriff, and say Hafu faked a task (maybe she took too long on download), and shot her because of it. There would be no other Sheriff alive to claim that he isn't the Sheriff, and he would be clear for the rest of the round.
