  • A very long time ago, you said on an episode of Good Eats that any kitchen gadget should have at least two or three functions, and for the last 15 years my wife had used this as an absolute rule when making purchases for our kitchen. Can't wait to show her this and burst her bubble! One-off kitchen gadgets, here I come!

  • My favorite was the ceramic pots turned in to a smoker to smoke pork shoulder. Tried it myself and it work perfectly! Though, I did it on the 12th floor of an apartment building, and lived next to a fire department. So soon after the I let out the first cloud of smoke the fire department was called to my apartment. However, they saw that i was just smoking some juicy pig parts and they let me carry on. Turned out delicious!
