Did anyone else think the choreography had a lot of similarities as Mia Michaels addiction dance that Kayla and Kupono did in season 5 of sytycd? Like down right move for move? The Mia michaels dance is one of my all time favorites so that’s how I noticed, look it up and see!

Listen I love Ms. Burke but if the dance didn’t have much “rumba” to it that’s not AJ’s fault. She’s the pro that choreographed the dance. I feel AJ turned out a great performance.

if this was a contemporary dance Aj would have gotten all 10. I do feel like carrie ann, its hard to judge. yes I agree I love how open and emotional Aj and Cheryl were and I felt , I mean Aj is a performer and of all the star he puts on a show every performance, but I am sorry this did not feel like a Rumba, at all, I wish maybe he could have dedicated the dance to his wife and their love , the rumba may have came out so on that part I was disappointed in the dance. Like Carrie Ann said I know he can blow the show out the water , but I think his samba in the relay was way better.
this was a beautiful and emotional performance. for those reasons, i loved it. but no way was it a rumba. aj made maybe 3 or 4 rumba steps during the entire dance, and they weren't done well. but i do think that his expressiveness and vulnerability on the dance floor were very impressive. :)
its not his fault that there wasnt enough rumba in the choreo. thats his pro's job. and i wish shed stop incorporating the damn stairs

@The Secret History yea they do rehearsal without the outfits and then rehearsal with the outfit to see if they need to make changes like to losen up the pant so then like to the split or something or which hairstyle looks better so maybe lol

@billy the kid Camera blocking on sundays they practice in the ballroom but they wear regular dance rehearsal clothes. On Monday before the show they do dress rehearsal where they practice in the ballroom with their actual outfit on.
